When one say 108 nowadays it means the free Ambulance and Emergency service conducted by Government. The service was popular and the credit goes to the present Government. But the real credit should go to our beloved Leader Puratchi Thalaivar MGR.
Earlier one MGR Fan told me about the same service was operating during MGR rule. But he cannot say to me clearly what was the name and how the service was discontinued. Tirupur Ravichandran sent me the scanned image of MGR’s service which appeared in Junior Viketan this week issue.
